Safety Consultant Kat

Hi! A while ago, Stormy sent out a new message to the Army of Four troopers. Since I am a trooper, I quickly got to work. My job in the Army of Four is to be the Safety Consultant. A Sibe can never be too safe, so I try to make sure that I demonstrate correct safety procedures for the other troopers to follow.

We got some doggie seatbelt systems. It took a long time for them to get to us, but we finally got them last week and had a chance to try them out this weekend when we went to the dog park. Here we are showing what a proper safety harness looks like when it's on. (You might have trouble seeing it on me since I'm black and so is the safety harness, so I'll show you Steve as well.)Now, troopers, we have to be alert and in charge of our own safety. We can't rely on our humans to help us. In fact, this weekend, when Mom and Dad strapped us in the car, we got completely tangled up. How safe is that? Not very, I say! (Ladies, watch out. Steve's fluffy butt is filling this picture!)Mom and Dad used the excuse that they think we're missing a part of the seatbelt system and Mom is going to call the company tomorrow. So let this be a lesson to all troopers. If you want to be safe, don't rely on humans to help you. And everypup should practice safe riding practices when in the car.

Be safe out there troopers!

Excellent work, Kat! We have a saying here - SAFETY FIRST! I'm so glad I can count on you to enforce that!
Your harnesses look cool. Great thinking, showing it on Steve. We can see it better on his lighter fur. (Nice tail feathers, by the way, Steve-O! Ha roo roo roo!)

Safety is always very important! It's good your humans care enough to keep you safe!

You two still look so tiny!!! I think you need more food and treats!

Woos, thanks for the safety tips, Kat. Great way to watch everypuppy's "six". Mikki says it's a good thing that Jack-a-roo from CyberSibes is her boyfriend cause Steve's got a pretty cute butt, and lovely soft lookin tail feathers.

Safety is #1! I'm not sure about the humans sometimes, I think they're overrated.

We agree with Holly, you need more special treats!

Thanks Holly! I agree we should get more treats. Mom and Dad feed us according to the recommended amount on the Canidae bag. Mom had actually just given us treats before she took those pictures and that's why I'm licking my chops!

Oh this is interesting. Safety first dad says. Mom makes my lead longer with the seat belt and Missy's shorter (it keeps her in one spot). So far that is working.

We are glad you completed this mission. And Steve's butt is so fluffy cute.

Mom would like a follow-up report on the effectiveness of your new safety equipment. She had one for Meeka but he kept unhooking it halfway through the car ride. We need to update our protocol.

Nice harness, Kat! Safety is important. I learned a long time ago to lie down when told & not roam around in a car. mom doesn't strap me down, but Jack travels in his very own cage. He seems to like it in there.
Jack & I agree you need more treats too.

Thanks for the safety reminder. My mom and dad have been thinking about getting those for us too.

Are those the harnasses from Denver? Somedoggy should make a business out of going to them in person and harassing them until they fork over the product!

It's too bad that I'm napping most of the day!

Those look like the saftey belts that our humans got for us. The problem we had is that we ordered two but only got one. Mom tried calling and e-mailing the company numerous times, but she could not get them to respond back. Could you tell us what company you got yours from so we can order another one? Thanks!! P.S. We'll try the new Blogger feature by clicking on the e-mail box in the comments section. Tell us if it works!

We got them from Champion. You can click the link in the blog post and I think it will take you to the company's web page. They weren't very responsive to our order since they charged our credit card and it still took another month to get it.

They should do a commercial video wif you two on safety while riding in the car. You two are sure on the ball. Now to get the humans to work them right. They'll catch on especially if sum parts weren't shipped wif the saftey system.

We've had the Champion system for years now, and the humans love it, we're not so keen about it since it won't allow us to escape. The human woman did a review on them, complete with warning people that the company completely and utterly sucks, but the products are fantastic, and yes, they screwed up our order also.

You can read the review here:

You should have gotten the harnesses and the seatbelt portion, so if you only got harnesses, yeah, you are missing a vital piece.
