Movin', Movin', Movin'

Movin', Movin', Movin',
Steve and Kat are movin',
All the way to Washington State!

It's gonna be lots of fun,
Except for the long car ride,
But maybe we'll see snow along the way!

Wilbur's excited too,
He's gonna live somewhere with stairs,
And lots of places to hide from the beasts!

We'll give you more details later,
We just needed to tell you all,
That we are movin' to Seattle!

(Note: Dad pointed out that this doesn't rhyme. What's a girl to do when she's composing lyrics at 6:30 in the morning? Kat)

WHOA! That's definately a MOVE!!! We're sad though because we thought you'd be coming closer to us and we could play sometimes. That's okay though......it'll be a fun adventure and we can all learn about Washington. Will there be snow??

To celebrate your impending move to snow country, we made this up:

Steve and Kat and Wilbur too
Willl soon be going on a move.
Pack your bowls and pack your toys,
Pack all the things that bring you joy.
And on your way up to Seattle
Watch out for strays and big-horned cattle.

(It may be silly, but it rhymes!)
Wooos and a-Rooos,
Star & the Jack a-Roo too

You're moving to where there is snow!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you know what the mascot of the University of Washington is, right?

And speaking of sports, please have the Oklahoma State Cowboys destroy the Kansas Jayhawks, please!

Woooo!! It was great to meet you guys today!! What a grreat surprise! Unfortunately we were all busy making our initial rounds we didnt really get to know each other! We will have to plan a date sometime soon!!

My mom says that on many dog bite lists huskies are in the top biting breeds. I think most of the cases are sledding dogs that arent socialized and are chained and then get loose. Its unfortunate that many people ban dogs for their breed rather than their actual temperament. :(

Also, Seattle doesnt really see much snow unfortunately. Last year mom said we had a number of snow days, (I even got to experience some!!) but the year before it only snowed once!! Usually it snows maybe a few times, but not until late dec/jan usually. I sure hope we get some this year!! But there are always the mountains to go snowshoeing in!!!
