I'm a good boy!

Breaking news! (Or a few days old news!)
DSCN0196
I'm a Canine Good Citizen! I took my test on Thursday and passed. Dad says I'm now a CGB, Certified Good Boy. Don't worry though, I still don't listen to a word he says. He never hands out treats, so I have no reason to listen to him. Mom, on the other paw, is pretty sneaky with the treats. I can never tell when she's going to pull a piece of hotdog or cheese out of her pocket, so I try to listen to what she tells me to do and that's how I ended up being a CGC or CGB, whatever.

So what do you all think? Should I sign my name Steven Oliver, CGC or Steve, CGC or just Steve? I'll do all three for today. ;-)

Congrats Steve, you are a great biped trainer! Woo can use whatever name woo need to get the most milage out of this. Woo can be Steve to us, your furiends. Woo can be Steve CGC when woo want to be impressive, yet still modest, or woo can use Steven Oliver, CGC to be really impressive, or when woo want an extra good seat in a restaurant.

Steve, you totally ROCK!!! You and your mom worked so hard on this - I know you had to train her really hard and we're all so very proud of you!!!

PS: I like Steve, CGC. Short and to the point. Jack made a good point about tossing in the more formal "Steve Oliver, CGC" to impress a maitre-d', though.

Hey Steve,
Congratulation on earning you CGC certification. Only Jubal and J.E.B. have done that here; dad couldn't take it anymore. You're right about keeping on the alert for any miscellanious treat that might be handed out. Dad says that he (dad) was frustrated with Jubal at CGC training because Jubal is NOT a food reward dog during training; he wouldn't even take hot dogs or liver snaps. J.E.B IS a food anything dog though. Again, congratulations sir.
