This does not make me happy

While Steve was getting pictures off the camera from his training, I found these pictures of what my parents were doing while Steve and I were on vacation.

It must have been really scary because my dad almost got hit by an airplane.

And I guess they went to outer space.

But what I found most disturbing was this picture of my mom.

Did you see where she was? She was in a winter wonderland!! So apparently, despite all the pouting I have done about a snowless winter, Mom and Dad decided that it would be a good idea to leave us at home to go play in the snow. I am really disturbed by this. I'm considering running away to go live with a nice family on the east coast.

Pretty soon it will be spring where you are and we will still be slogging thru snow and muds. So you might want to think about that just a little.

Hey Woos,
Your dad (and probably your mom0 went to the NASM (National Air & Space Museum) Chantilly Annex out at Dulles International Airport (IAD), WOW!. That's one of our dad's favorite places. Our dad helped "dress out" the F-14D Tomcat that is there and he got the weapons racks for the NASM's A-6E Intruder (which our dad flew). He's been there lots of times. The space shuttle Enterprise that is at the NASM will be leaving and going somewhere else in a year or so. The NASM will be getting one of the retiring shuttles from the NASA fleet. Enterprise is just a prootype mockup that was dropped from the carrier 747 to test flight characteristics; it's never been to space. Did they go to the NASM on The National Mall?
We don't know exactly where your mom's picture was taken since that Jeffersonian style is pretty prevalent around VA.
