I too live a tough life...

Mom sewed some vests for Adopt a Husky of Dallas. I'm all for Mom helping Sibes find good homes... until she decides to torture me as part of her efforts.

She made me be the model for the vests. I had to try them on during the initial fabric cutting and then model the final product so she could email the pictures back to Texas.

It was terrible and I ran to hide in the bedroom, but Mom tricked me with Happy Hearts cookies and I came out to the kitchen so she could take my picture.

The good part of the deal is that my suffering did not go unnoticed. One Adopt a Husky of Dallas volunteer sent me some presents for my hard work. My favorite is this bunny.

I guess sometimes sacrifice is worth it.

Steve,

You make a nice model. I guess if you get treats and a stuffie for it then it's worth it! Why not. Maybe you should get an agent!

Woor mom did a furry nice job on those vests! I'm sure lots of huskies will get adopted with those vests on! Woo make a great model, too. I think woo should get at least a hundred Happy Hearts cookies for each modeling session.

well, Steve, don't you want other huskies to be adopted so they can live in a house with nice people and a steady supply of happy hearts cookies? And you did get a good present.

a Steve,
We feel for ya bro, but we all gotta do our part to help homeless animals get adopted. You done a good thing and ya got Happy Heart Cookies and a toy even. So quite your gripping and suck it up guy. You mom obviously is crafty talented too and she worked hard on those vests. She did a great job and it looks good; even on you.

Those vests came out so nicely -- way to go, Mom of Steve. Steve, you did a great job modeling, so glad you got some good treats as reward.

That bunny is furry cute.

Hope you and Kat sent some of your scent along with her for our visit.

Helping other pups find good homes is always a worthwhile cause. And getting treats for it makes it extra special.

Steve - In this case, we think the torture was warranted. Some other pups helped us get here to Chez Herd after all.

Your Mommy did such a great job helping those sibes that need homes, I know posing is a plain, but you got a neat stuffy!
-Kira the BeaWootiful and Scampi too!

You Sibes, you want to be tough and not do what people ask you to do, but you want to do good things too, which is why you look so great in the terrific vest your Mom made. I know its part of being a Sibe, but don't make it SO hard. You got treats too!

Kisses,
Stella

Hey Steve, that is admirable that woo found a nice charity to do some modeling for - your good looks will surely call attention to their cause. When I was in OH I hiked for Adopt-a-Husky every year!

Woos,

PS - nice goodies! I like your bunny too.
