Cooking with Mom

Moms need a lot of supervision.  In our house, Mom can't go to the bathroom unsupervised, can't take a shower with out me guarding the bathroom, can't eat anything with out Steve wanting to test the food, and now I have discovered that she can't cook without assistance.

Here is evidence.  Mom was trying to cook some soup.  You can see in this picture that Steve thought she needed some supervision, but I thought she needed VERY close supervision.  You just never can tell what mistakes Mom would make if I wasn't there to point them out.
Here's a close up.  Cooking is hard work.
I also work hard as Mom's foot warmer.

Furry khute K(h)at!

Our moms SOOOOO need us - I mean, I have to stay within a Sibe or two length's away when she's using that laptop thing of hers -

Please tell HANDSOME Steve, that is one of my normal sprawling pawsitions too!

PeeEssWoo: Be khareful though - I read over my mom's shoulder that YOUR mom thinks woo have been DIGGING - khan woo believe that???

Moms and dads both need extra care, especially in the bathroom and the kitchen. Guinness always has to be on guard in the bathroom and we all take extra care with them in the kitchen. Chewy even helped mom clean today. Putting fur in all of the right places is very difficult work.

Hey Kat, great job on doing two important jobs at once - supervision and foot warmer. Now Steve needs to strategically pawsition himself so that when your mom turns around she nearly trips over Steve.

Woooo woo rar rar rar,

(PS... tell your mom that our mom says the Sportband is a different product that doesn't need no stinkin iPod! She put more details on her blog)

Oh man what would your mom do without you? I don't think these humans would survive without us.

I'll have to try that sometime! But I think my mom moves around too much when she's cooking.

Oh, Kat, Mom knows now that I learned that trick from woo - she tries to work at the kitchen counter and can't move because I am right there checking it all out. Hugs and kisses, my sweet gal.

The important question is, did woo two get extra treats for pulling double KP duty in the kitchen?

Huffle Mawson, Honorary Husky and Explorer Cat

You two are doing a great job of supervising. Samuel likes to supervise everthing our mom does too.

Must be a Sibe thing.

It is a wonder that these humans can function at all without us around to direct them.

Good work, Kat! A certain caninaturalist is convinced I cannot prepare dinner unless said caninaturalist is sprawled ACROSS my feet. This makes walking between the counter, the stove, and the fridge something of a challenge.

Kat, you are a very wise girl...

Nice work Kat (and Steve). Our parents are very lucky to have us.

You are the cutest and the best feet warmer any mummy would dream of having.

Did your mummy reward you for your hardwork?
