We just got back from our camping weekend.  We're going to post about it in three different posts: camping, picnic, and hiking.  Today is camping.

Did you know when you go camping that you have to sleep in a big crate with your humans?  Our crate is blue and grey.  Here is a picture of it.
We, of course, can't be expected to sleep on the ground like dogs.  I mean, we're not dogs, we're Siberians!  So I slept on the cot with Mom and Kat slept on the sleeping bag Mom laid out for her.  Here we are.  Notice I'm working hard at keeping Mom's legs warm.
When camping, Dad cooks hamburgers.  Of course, I tried my hardest to get a hamburger, but I only got Canidae.  I did get some carrots from Mom though.
In case you ever go camping, here are some tips.  It's important to keep watch over your campsite.  Here's Kat demonstrating sentry duty.  No animal or person would get past her!
It's also important to have fun.  Here I am relaxing in the horseshoe pit.
And here's Kat having a fun roll in the grass.
Finally, at night, you should do your best to look super cute.  Kat's doing a good job in this photo.
I hope you enjoyed my camping tips!  Next we'll tell you about the Husky Picnic!

Hey - that doesn't look so bad. How come you didn't show a picture of Mom and Dad's tent? We only saw yours.

Mom says she could camp if she had one of those cots and a bathroom

Looks like you both had a great time! It was very nice of your humans to give you your own beds. Even if they did decide to share them with you. Next time tell they they should bring their own.

Wow, so that's camping! That crate doesn't look very sturdy!

What's the deal with no hamburgers? Who are the carnivores in your group?

I think Lucy would want the cot all to herself. If we went. There wouldn't be room for the Human Assistant.

He'd have to sleep on the floor with us Siberboys. I sure hope he wouldn't try to hug us or something! It's too hot for that!

Wow you pups get to have so much fun. I can't believe your parents forgot to bring their own tent though, and had to share yours.

Woo Wooo - that looks like sooo much fun - I'm glad you kept your Mom warm at night? was it cold there? I could use cold here because it's pretty hot. I love your neat little crate but how much the Mommy and Daddy had to sleep with you? Did they forget their house?
Thanks for sharing - can you bring friends next trip, we would love to come with you guys!
Wishing we could go,

Where's the TV?? Where's the air conditioning? Where's the queen-sized bed? Oh, wait ... you DID mention hamburgers, so maybe camping would be OK.....

Great job on the camping photos. Did you sing around the campfire at night? Did you scare off any bears? Your bed looks so cozy. I'll bet you had so much fun.

My grandparents travel with an big huge RV. We went to visit them once: and the man at the gate said "we allow dogs but no huskies". Can u imagine? We didn't want to stay at their stinky campsite anyway and found much better campsite. What's with the discrimination against huskies?

You get to go on the most exciting adventures. I asked Momma if we could do this and she said they don't allow dogs at the Holiday Inn (her version of camping)

Good Morning my Friends,

I'm so sorry you didn't get any hamburgers - My Mommy got me a cheeseburger on the way home from Lisa the Mean because she missed me so much. Sorry I didn't share!

Sorry we're late! We don't know why your updates aren't showing up on Google Reader, it must be operator error.

Camping looks SO cool. Mom thought about taking us but is too scared.
