We Made It!

Finally, the part of our story where we actually made it to our new home. Here's a picture of us in front of the townhome with Mom.This video shows us exploring the house the first time.

We don't have a backyard anymore, but we do have a balcony. Steve likes to watch everyone walk along the sidewalk from his balcony perch.
You wouldn't believe how many dogs live here! It drives us crazy because we see dogs walk past the front of our house all the time and then we want to go outside like every ten minutes. Since we now have to go out on a leash, Mom and Dad don't like it very much. We still don't have any furniture, so Dad says once we do have some, we won't be able to see out the front window as well. We will see if he's right. Our furniture arrives tomorrow.Since we don't have any furniture, we only have one dog bed because that's all Mom and Dad could fit in the car. So in this picture, Steve is showing how we improvise.
I have been having fun playing with my yellow ball. It's great because there isn't any furniture to get in the way!

Finally, Wilbur doesn't have furniture to jump onto to get away from us. So he's found a new perch. That's all for now!

Your new house looks nice. Great job on making yourself a dog bed steve. Wilbur is really high up there on top of the cabinets isn't he.
Sorry you don't have any yard at all. I did that when we lived in Germany

Careful Wilbur doesn't jump on your heads.

Wow - it stinks that there's no yard, but your place is still soooooo cool!!!! I know your Mom and Dad are great with walkies and doggie parks, so everything will be just perfect. Wilbur is hanging out where our Loki and Bones hang out...annoying!

We LOVE your place!

Maybe you can persuade the Humans to only put necessary furniture like couches and beds in the house so that you'll have plenty of play room!

Remember to think negative Sooner thoughts.

Home Sweet Home! What fun to not have any furniture. And now that you have carpeting you can sneak up on Wilbur.

Oh, wow! Your balcony is a GREAT look-out! Cool!
I think your house looks great as is - without furniture. You should keep it that way!

I don't know why humans need furniture anyway! Something on the floor that smells family is perfect!

Glad you made it safe and sound! That's a bewootiful townhouse, nothing like the one mom and dad rented when I first came to live with them. Going out on a leash sucks for humans and dogs, that's why our mom and dad made us a dog yard to run.

your new house looks really cool without any furniture to get in the way. who needs to go outside when you can run all around the house inside and be warm and dry?! and you get to run up and down those stairs too. it looks like fun.

We love your new place, looks like there are lots of things to explore. Those stairs rock.

You need to figure out a way to keep the furniture away.

We second MayaMarie, we're so glad you finally made it to your new home. From your videos it looks like you'll have lots of fun there, even if you don't have a yard anymore. That just means more walks & trips to the park! And Wilbur looks like he found his comfy zone right away...

Oh your new house looks FUN!!! Loved Steve's fluffy butt going down the stairs, ha roo roo roo! I also liked Kat's flexible move up against one of those pillar things with her ball! Was that the yoga movement called "down dog"???

MEOW WILBER! I love your new perch. Looks like you found the perfect place to keep watch over the food area AND the furry beasts! Nice job!

Your new house looks so nice. My humans used to live in a townhouse and it wasn't nearly as big as yours! We love how spacious it is. You two are brave on that balcony. Don't let Wilbur get out there. :)

We're very happy that you are all there safe and sound. What a trip! Happy Settling in!

Wow. we got behind on reading your blog and so much has happened! We are glad the move was fairly easy even if you did lose the food bowls. We hope you get lots of snow to enjoy.

NIce house! That balcony is great, but I know if we were somewhere like that, mom would worry herself sick we'd use it for a launching pad! that railing doesn't look like much of a challenge to get over. We like your house without furniture - all the better for zoomies!

Happy tail ways & husky woos,
