Visitors

We have visitors this week.  Our Texas grandma and grandpa are here.  They brought us some really good chewies, some big ole treats and some kitty Greenies for Wilbur.  Mom and Dad have been requesting that we be on our best behavior while we have guests.  Steve and I are on our best behavior all the time, so I'm not sure why they felt the need to specify anything.

The one thing about guests is that they are cramping my style.  I usually lay on the big couch, on the left end.  However, Texas grandpa sits there now so I have to lay on the floor in front of the TV.
Steve, on the other paw, doesn't care and he goes to his normal spot between the coffee table and the couch.  Texas grandma is nice enough to put her feet up for him.
So that's the update on our guests.  Wilbur likes them too and apparently tries to sleep with them.  I hope he doesn't try to eat their faces!

PS.  I feel like I need to stick up for my poor dad.  He just got tons of bad press after that dinnertime video.  In his defense, he doesn't usually ask us if we are hungry.  I think he wanted to show off for the camera.  You know how humans are!  They are so hard to train.  I just wish I could make them understand like five sentences in Siberian, then I'm sure they would be a lot easier to deal with.

PeeEssWoo: Maybe woo khan give your Texas GrandPeops a little souvenir to remind them of their visit? I mean, if they like HIM that much, maybe he should go BAKHK to Texas!

WOO Kat!

Khyra's right, no need to stick up for your dad. Humans do what they do...

WOO need to fight back for your spot. When our granddad visited, I just kept climbing on his head when he sat on my spot. HuMom finally had to explain to him that I was climbing all over him because he was in MY spot!!

That's my story,
Maebe

It took us a minute to understand Khyra's message, but is she suggesting that Wilbur go home with the grandparents?

Kat, woo can come here for a few days, or weeks, or furever!!!

Pee Ess, we were just pulling your Dad's leg - we all know he is really a nice guy.

Maybe Wilbur likes the grandfolks enough to sneak home to Texas in their suitcases.

Oh, wooooooo! Steve, that pose is killer cute. I wish we had a ledge like that for my head. I'd like doing that one.
Kat, we aren't allowed on the furniture at all (except the bed), so I make my mom sit on the floor with me. Maybe you should make your Texas grandparents sit on the floor - then you can have the couch.
Woo.

Dave

Poor abused Kat. When we are displaced from the couch, we can give the Siberian Mind Meld stare until we get what we want. Very effective. To ease your suffering, we have left you an award on our blog.

Wait. What??? You have to lay on the floor? Who are these Texans? Royalty? I'd stage a huge protest and poop in their shoe!

Unless they give you cookies...then you can discuss a compromise.

Have fun with the G-parents. Do you think they would be able to go home if Wilbur ate their face?

How is the training of your mum going, Kat? And if your Texas grandparents are giving you treats maybe you can live with sitting on the floor for a bit...?

Wilbur, I try to sleep in the bed with my grandparents when they come and visit too!

Oh my grandparents are coming this week too! But they are not from Texas so I doubt we'll get any texas-sized bones.

I think you two are very enthusiastic for your meals. I never get that excited unless HuMom breaks down and gives us real meat!

Woo two look adorable! Grandpawrents are a good thing - they usually mean ya get extra treats, even if ya do have to change your routine a bit to accomodate them.

About your dad... yeah, yeah, sure, sure, whatever.

We love Visitors because they usually give us lots of hugs and kisses. But we had to be careful with our Grandma because she was such a little tiny thing. Mom thought we would knock her over! The good thing is most of the time you DO get to lay on the couch - I heard that some fur-kids aren't allowed on the furniture!

Heya guys,
Grans are great; they usually give y'all more treats than we're posed to get and they pet ya a lot more. It's good to have grans; ours are all at The Bridge with The Angels Bumpass Hounds petting them. Enjoy it while you can.
