PAWSwalk

Kat and I took Mom and Dad to the PAWSwalk on Saturday.  It's a walk to raise money for the PAWS animal shelter and they raised over $200,000!  That really makes our Blogathon look weak!

Before we went to the park, Mom and Dad stopped to get themselves some breakfast.  We had to sit in the car while they ate and you can see how that went in this video.

We got to the park early and had to do some boring standing around.  Here's Dad and Kat followed by Mom and me.Here's the start of the race.

And here's the end, except Mom messed it up and held the camera incorrectly.  (What good is having thumbs if you don't know how to use them.)
We walked for over three miles and when we were done, we were pooped!  Kat was in her cranky pants mood and growled at everydog, so Dad was annoyed.  She doesn't look too cranky in this picture though.
We also saw Royal after the walk.  Luckily Kat had recovered from her crankiness and didn't embarrass me.  Royal is very cool.

Well, that's pretty much our weekend excitement.  Did you pups do anything exciting?
Steve

PS. Kat says she will post about school tomorrow.

Kat is such a DIVA. I would be cranky too if I didn't get any of that breakfast, had all those noses up my backside and had to finish the walk sideways.

good for you kiddos for doing the PawsWalk. we didn't go this year, but have done it the past two years. this year mom is just unmotivated, although she says that she is going to make a donation just the same. we can see that you are thrilled about your peeps eating in the car. we love it too - manners are not our specialty.

woofs.

Maybe you should get Meeshka on to your case of breakfast neglect? She's a very good attorney at claw. Your new leashes look cool!

Steve, Mati was chiming in with you... but personally, I don't speak Sibe-Speak. Mom and Dad didn't give you a special breakfast too? ...and after all that work preparing for the walk! -Rocky

WOO WOO Steve and Kat

What a great time you must have had on the Paws Walk! We loved watching your Video! We could tell you were trying to get to the front of the pack! We always like to lead. But Steve, I would have had your Dad's breakfast - it looked yummy!

Hey y'all,
How come Wilbur didn't go walking? Looks like the weather cooperated for the event; our Dad sez in WA that can sometimes be iffy. OBTW, you guys did pretty good with the blogathon cuz there weren't like a million dogs doing it, just you TWO. And, like it says on our blog: "It's better to do a little to help than to do nothing at all."

Those people really should have moved out of the way so you could have won that race.

Your walk looked fun! We had one last week and we had to walk in the pouring rain! Ick. But, it was still for a good cause so we sucked it up.

That is so great that you got to meet Royal!
