Unnecessary Payment

At Dr. Steve's Cure-All Clinic, we are a pro-bono practice. We like to help pups and don't require any form of payment. However, Mango insisted that he pay me for his prescription. His payment arrived this week and wow, it was great!

He sent me this cool Spiderman toy. I guess being a doctor is just like being a superhero. You can see that I couldn't wait to get my paws on Spiderman.

These yummy bones were also in the box.

Kat and I both found them delicious!

One really cool thing that Mango sent was this blanket for Nurse Kat. It says "Nurses Week 2009" and is from a hospital in Texas. It's perfect for Nurse Kat since she is also from Texas. Mom put the blanket on the couch where Kat always sleeps.

Even Wilbur got something. I'm sure he will want to eat his Friskies out of this mug if he can get it away from Mom!

Last but certainly not least, there was card in the box. Kat thought it was very sweet. Actually, we all did.

Thanks Mango and family! We really appreciate the gifts!

Hey, why didn't we get to go?

I'm not sure how many of you saw the OP Pack's post, but my mom visited them. Without me. Let me repeat that.

My mom visited MY boyfriend, Thunder, and did not take me.

I am very upset. So is Steve. He thinks he would be great friends with Thunder and Phantom and we'd both be honored to meet Princess Dakota.

On the bright side, Dakota, Phantom, and Thunder sent some goodies home for us. Their mom had the presents wrapped up all pretty, but Mom forgot to take a picture of that. Anyway here's everything they sent:

There's even a kitty wubba for Wilbur! Isn't that thoughtful?

Mom let us play with our new toys on the bed last night. Here's me with my ball.

And Steve with his rabbit.

Steve and I both squeaked our toys while Mom and Dad tried to go to sleep.

THANK YOU OP PACK!!! We love everything you sent us!

Presents from Khyra

My lovely gal pal, Khyra sent Kat and I some great presents for our birthday. I knew she would send something good, so I couldn't wait for Mom to open up the box. I was so impatient that I almost chewed it open myself!Khyra sent us some wubbas! We were so excited. I have been wanting a wubba forever and my mean mom wouldn't buy me one. (I didn't know that Mom had bought me one and hid it away until my birthday.) Mom let us have the wubbas from Khyra before our birthday, so we played with them a lot before we got the ones that we showed you in our last post.

Khyra wanted me to have the purple wubba since it's her signature color. I really liked it!Kat was supposed to get the red wubba. She likes hers too.We also played some good fetch with the wubbas.

Khyra also sent us some stuffies. She sent Kat a bird and sent me a squirrel. I love the squirrel.Did I mention I REALLY love the squirrel? Finally, Khyra sent us some bully sticks and we took those with us when we met Huffle's humans. They were delicious!

Thanks Khyra!

Stuff from Summi

On Saturday we had a big surprise.  We got a present from Summi!

Summi wrote a really nice note on the box.  Apparently he heard about my encounter with a squirrel and the squirrel somehow losing it's head.  (Prove that I did it, Dad.)
Check it out!  He sent us two really cool stuffies, but the stuffies don't have stuffing.  They are really fun.
I immediately took my squirrel and set off to decapitate it, I mean lovingly cuddle it.  (Dad's listening, so I have to be sly.)
Squeak, squeak, squeak goes the squirrel head.
Dad took this video of us.
Since the new toys arrived, I've been taking mine to bed every night.  Kat tries to copy me, so she brings her fox to bed and then falls asleep, so I take it and horde both toys.  Seriously, don't you think I'm the smartest?

I love this toy

Hey pups, Wilbur here.  I thought I'd share a video with you of me playing with a present from my Missouri grandma and grandpa.  They gave me this thing for Christmas and I love it.  It's got three dangly things on different wires and I just lay under need it and bat everything around.  It's great.  I recommend it for all the kitties out there.

Shopping Trip!!

I had to wear my gentle leader for the first time yesterday.  It was terrible.  Here's Dad fitting it on me.  Notice how Mom has her finger holding my collar.  I was trapped.

Here I am after it was on.  I look very handsome in the picture, but in reality, my spirit was beaten down.  (Kat had to wear her gentle leader too, but she doesn't have it on yet in this picture.)
Just when I thought that Mom and Dad were just going to make me wear the stupid thing for their amusement, they hooked up my leash and said, "Let's go shopping!"  We walked to my new favorite store, Paddywack.  I like Paddywack because they have a lot of good smelling treats and dog food.  Yesterday, we weren't there to buy Canidae, we were picking out a new toy for me since the whole ordeal with Santa.

We really took a long time deciding what to get, but I finally settled on a Kong on a rope.  Here we are back at the house and Dad is dangling it in my face.
I didn't pay much attention to it when Dad first tried to play, but Mom caught me later in the day.
This morning, I have already had a spirited game of tug o'war with the kong on a rope, so I am glad my parents came to their senses that I needed a toy.

Steve's Favorite Toys

Finally, my turn to talk about my favorite toys! I thought it would never be my turn!

I really like my cuz toys. First I had two little ones and I broke the squeakers. Now I have bigger ones and I chewed the feet off of those. Here’s a picture of my de-legged Cuz. (Mom says that “de-legged” is not a word. I told her to look it up in the dictionary. She says she’s too tired. I said that I win.)

I also have a new found favorite toy in my rhino from Sitka. It’s awesome and it grunts. I love it and if Kat even tries to play with it or even sit near it, I bark at her until she moves.

I know this sounds really predictable, but my other favorite toy is Kat. She's just so interactive. We can chase and wrestle and jump on stuff and get in trouble and it's just the best, most awesome fun ever!

Kat’s Favorite Toys

Well, my favorite toy is probably the yellow ball but you’ve already seen me playing with it. Another toy that I like is my Nylabone. For the longest time we wouldn’t give Nylabones the time of day, but then Mom got smart and got us some that are chicken flavored and now we love to chew on them.

I also like the cuzes, particularly the ones that Steve broke the squeakers on. They don’t squeak, but they still make a weird noise, so I still like chewing on them.

My other favorite toy is probably Steve. I like chasing him and then throwing him to the ground by grabbing his tail. He outweighs me by about five pounds, but when the wrestling starts, he doesn’t have a chance!

Wilbur's Favorite Toys

We’re halfway through Blogathon and I thought I would show you some of my favorite toys. First is my tent, which was one of the answers to the trivia question. I like to climb in it and sleep or attack people who walk by the tent and don’t know I’m in it. It’s great for the shock factor.

I also like my Christmas Beanie Baby. It has a jingle bell in it. Every day my mom puts it back in my room so the furry beasts don’t eat it and every day she comes home to find that I’ve carried it back out of my room to the living room where I want to keep it.

Then there is my tunnel. I commanded my mom to video me so that Tia could see that I do actually go through the tunnel instead of jumping over it. My mom talks to me like I'm an infant. It's so annoying, especially when you have extreme intelligence like I do.
