My new furniture
Back when we lived in Texas, we had a patio set and I really enjoyed laying on it and watching over my backyard kingdom. Here's a picture of me on that table.
I also liked standing on the grill, as evident in this picture of Kat, Ulee, and me.
When we left Texas, we had to live in an apartment up here, so Mom gave away the patio set to one of her friends in Texas and Dad sold the grill. After six months of apartment living, we moved into our house and I was really disappointed to see that a patio set and grill did not magically appear. I have a much bigger yard now, but no good vantage point for surveying, especially since Dad blocked off the stairs to get on top of the clubhouse after Kat jumped off the roof.
Luckily, a couple weekends ago, Mom went to Lowes and found a table and chairs that she liked and they weren't very expensive. So that night, she and Dad went back to Lowe's and purchased the stuff.
Now this is more like it.
Dad got a new grill too, but he put it up against the house and not where I can stand on it. I'll have to fix that soon.
While I was up on the table, Mom took a bunch of pictures of me, so I'll share my photo shoot with you all in my next post.

Great pic there, Steve - look at that perfect posture - and not bad for a lookout point. Now do tell, do woo spring up there from the ground or do woo use a chair to get up?

OH MY DOG! I remember when you got on the grill! I am glad your mom and dad got you a table in your Seattle home!
Hugs,
Sitka
Awesome pose Steve. We used to sit on top of the hot tub until Kiska decided the cover tasted good. For some reason, there is a fence around it now. We don't know why.
Hmm have not tried the grill yet, but tonight it was hot, because mommy cooked Salmon, my favorite. I always hop up on the patio table!

Congrats on the new patio set.
I didn't know that you once lived in Texas, hello former Texan.
How you got on the grill, I wonder if I could jump that high.
You are the most talented! Amazing skills. I am about to pee my fur. I have heard stories about my uncle Sabo climbing ontop of the playhouse, jumping up into a tree, and then climbing up onto the house for the bestest views of the hood. Of course, coming down was not so graceful....SPLAT!
I have much to aspire to.

Very nice poses! I'm very jealous of woo...woor humans let woo on tables? Woo have woor humans furry well trained. Maybe I should try that...

Oh, that made us laugh outloud!! Really, you stood on the grill??? You are too funny! I think I would just lick it. ;)
standing on the grill! too funny! you sure are a climber, Steve. But I suppose it's better to view your terrain that way. We don't have anything like that to climb on and, frankly, I never thought of it before.....hmmmmmmm
Shiloh
Sometimes you have to work to get the best view but be careful that the grill isn't hot!

It is good to see a King on his Throne.
You look AWESOME on your new table. It was nice of your parents to get it for you.
Ha roo roo roo, standing on the grill! Ha roo roo roo!

And they chose one that accentuates your lovely coat, and it even has a handy umbrella so you can sit out there and not get wet!

hey Steve, you are so smart to get up on that table. do you have a good view from up there? we've never tried getting up on our patio table. it is the same style as yours, except we don't have any chairs (long story). we can't wait to see the results of the photo shoot.
woofs.
I am so glad that you got a new table! I can't believe you used to stand on the grill! Have fun surveying your yard!
:) Tibby
I especially love the one of you on Mt. Grill. Very heroic and studly!
Meeshka
Wow. We thought a husky on a dryer (which happens to hold the cat food) was impressive. But we agree with Meeshka, standing on Mt. Grill is awfully impressive!
Oh Steve, jumping on the grill is just too cool! I'm gonna have to try that here!
We need taller furniture too. Star tells me she used to have a nice high deck to survey the yard from & take flying leaps from. All we have now is a very low wicker thing. mom keeps asking dad to build us something husky-worthy.

You strike a handsome figure there, Steve!
~Star, (and yes, Jack wears red & I wear purple, just like woo guys!)
We have a table that I sit on too Steve! Very nice pose, by the way.
Wilbur, I'm glad you were okay while your parents abandoned you. I can't wait to see your post about sleeping.

It's nice to have a connection to your past, no matter how basic or simple it may seem. You look very content and we are happy with you.
