My first prescription

Thunder of the OP Pack is the first pup to ask for a prescription from me. Here's what the OP Pack had to say.

"Steve, can you send a prescription that will help cure TD of his love of being out in the rain?"

This was a pretty difficult case to diagnose. I really dislike the rain, so I was having a hard time identifying with why Thunder would want to stay out in the rain. So I took a nap. I've always heard that it's best to sleep on it if you have a big problem.

After I woke up from my nap, I felt refreshed and I had a medical breakthrough. Thunder wants to stay outside because he's trying to find a way to dig a tunnel to be with his sweetheart, Kat. That explains why Thunder wants to be outside, but why does he want to be outside in the rain? I knew that Thunder has recently had a bath at the groomers, so I am fairly certain that he is staying outside in the rain to show his mom that he's taking his own showers and doesn't need baths or grooming.

Therefore, I have prescribed a two-fold cure for Thunder. One is that he should have a photo of his sweetheart posted in his crate. Here's a suggestion:

My other prescription is that Thunder be exempt from baths from now on. In the event that he has to have a bath, treats must be administered one for every 30 seconds of bath time. My official prescription is below:

Good luck, Thunder! I hope this works for you.

Dr. Steve, you are very professional. we are so impressed at your bedside manor.

we have a very serious case for you. Benson is a scaredy-dog. he is afraid of everything - humans, dogs, cats, flies (yes, flies!), food, baths, birds, and more. what would you prescribe for this poor little scardey-dog? Benson would really appreciate your help.

woofs.

Dear Dr. Steve,

Thank you so much for the prescription. I will talk to the pack to figure out how we can pay your bill - will Happy Hearts help?

I wooed at Mom to please help me print this picture of my beloved Kat. But she said I have to promise to come in from the rain when she calls me. I have already been out in the rain tonight for over an hour. A new pup moved in for the summer next door and I have been trying to tell him he is not welcome to run along my fence. I got a little muddy doing that but not as bad as the last time. I am hoping your prescription will help ward off the bath or at least get me tons of treats.

Woos, Thunder Dunder.

Wooo What a great Doctor you are. I bet you will be seeing hundreds of new patients after that diagnoses and treatment plan you prescribed! I think I may stay out in the rain a bit longer next time.... and I know of a certain psychotic little border collie... but I think he is hopeless, incurable, untreatable...

Heya Woos,
That's a GREAT diagnosis and terrific prescription. Since both Doctor phil and Doctor Oz have left Oprah's show, you need to write to Oprah and apply to fill the vacancy. Dr. Steve can be a regular on the Oprah show. Then all of the people that sit around and watch TV all day will be able to get the help that they all so desperately need.
