I'm not a chicken!

Mom is making me really mad.  She apparently is under the false impression that I am a chicken and not a Siberian Husky.  I guess she wants to eat me or something because she keeps trying to pluck my fur on my butt.  Isn't that the first stage to cooking a chicken?  Listen, MOM, I can't help it if I'm shedding a lot on my butt and the fur comes out in tufts.  That is no excuse for you to touch me there and pluck my fur.  It's MY fur (and MY butt)!  STOP IT!

I hope Mom reads this post,
Kat

Humans are so stupid! We aren't pluckable yet.

Oh Kat... I am sorry to see that plucking season is in for you. It is always that season for me! I think you should tell your mom if she plucks you, then you can pluck her!

Sitka

Annoying, isn't it? It can be worse when she gets out the comb, though.

At least demand treats for it! And that's a good face, too!

Has she done that furminator thing on you yet? Clara the cat is the only one who allows that think to be used on her. Maybe your Mom should start pulling on Wilbur's fur and leave yours alone.

Ugh! Mom is ALWAYS plucking furs out of my butt! It's so rude. My furs are there for a reason...leave them alone!!!

I just hope your Mom doesn't have a furminator...that's the worst butt plucker of them all!

I HATE being plucked! I just HATE it! And Mom sings this "When It's Sibe-Plucking Time in Kansas" song she made up which makes it even WORSE! It's HORRIBLE! It's MY fluff and I WANT it! Hrumph!

Mamas never understand. If it has feathers, you can pluck it. If it's fur, it is NOT pluckable!

Advice from an older and more experienced husky: Get used to it....they NEVER will stop...it's an addiction...they can't help themselves.

Our Dad's the plucker of the house. If I had an opposable thumb I'd go up and yank some of his hair out of his head to see how he likes it!

We are convinced plucking is the start to a new game of tag. You should try it. It is really annoying to those humans.

I can empathize with your mom, Kat. It's just too damn tempting to do anything other than pluck those loose hairs, especially when we know they're going to end up on our clothes, and our beds, and our furniture, and just about everywhere else if we don't. Just stop shedding already!!

Plucking sure does stink. Next time, maybe you should pull her hair and see how she likes it. :)

hi Kat, we're sorry that your mom is trying to pluck you. that sounds very painful - and personal too. can't she just go pluck Wilbur? hee hee! yeah, go pluck the cat! it's too bad that you have to shed. can't you keep all of your fur on you like we do? if you didn't shed, then she wouldn't pluck. try that and see if it works out for you.

woofs!

Ha! The moms do that to Dakota, too. The only time I'm jealous of her fluffy butt is when it's freezing, like today.

Mom used to do that to Thrawn too...he got irritated at her. Everytime she sees a Husky that's blowing his coat her fingers itch to pull it out. Weirdo.
