I love Christmas!
Today the FedEx truck came to our house and gave us a BIG box. It was from our Texas grandparents! Mom wasn't sure if we should open it now or wait until Christmas, so she just put it on the floor next to the door. I knew that my Texas grandma would want me to have anything that was in the box and I was also sure I smelled something delicious in there.
So I tried to be cool until Mom and Kat went into the laundry room to fold stuff. Then I decided that it was my opportunity. When Mom wasn't watching, I chewed open the Christmas box! Guess what I saw in there?
To the untrained eye, you might not be able to tell what that is, but I know that it's a bag of Canidae Snap Biscuits! I love those!! Notice I concentrated my box chewing right at the spot the biscuits were located. I didn't want to waste any time.
Unfortunately, at that point, Mom came out into the living room and said, "Steve! What are you doing?" Isn't it obvious, Mom?
So Mom ruined all the fun and took the treats out of the box. I wasn't sure if she got them all, so I had to check.
Mom says I can have my giant bag of biscuits on Christmas. I hope she means I can eat the whole bag just on Christmas and that I don't have to share with Kat!

You did good checking! Kat shouldn't get any because she didn't help! She just waited to see what you dug up.
oh man if she would have just waited a few more seconds to come back then you could have gotten the biscuit bag open.
Grandmas are the greatest aren't they?! It's a good thing you double checked that Mom got everything out. Grandma could have been trapped in there!

We're impressed that you didn't eat the packing macaroni! We love to eat that stuff!
We got your awesome card in today's mail! Thank you so much!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Good job finding the treats and looking for more. What's with people's obsessions with WAITING til Christmas? We think you should wake your people up at 12:01 Christmas morning and demand your treats.

That's almost like snow!
Oh good find Steve. I like those Canidae snap biscuits. Mum buys them for us every once in a while. We like to eat them here and there. But other times we play subborn and wont eat them. Do you ever do that?

Oh wow! What a large box of goodies you'all got. We can't wait to see what else was in there. We got your Christmas card. Very cool in the snow. So husky. And yes, dad's name is Steve. We just love it. And we made the cards too! Mom loves her crafts and this time she got to make them for our friends and that was even more fun.

Steve:
Look in the bedroom closet on the top shelf. That is where parents always hide the gifts.
"Steve! What are you doing?" Isn't it obvious, Mom?
Haha. Hahahhaha.
Oooh, bet you can't wait for Christmas (biscuits biscuits biscuits!).
Woooo,
Togo
Wow Steve you sure you are sneeky waiting for the room to clear before you made your move! You were very detail oriented on your search for more treats! We got your Howliday card yesterday. What a great picture of you two!! By the look on your faces, we'd say that there may have been treats involved in that photo session. We had to endure the same thing! Thanks so very much for the great card! Belly Rubs, Tasha & Eva.
P.S. Dad might be coming around to the idea of a new pack memeber!

Hi Steve, good job on chewing the box and you were really rooting around in there to see if there were any left. you have an excellent nose. it's just a shame that you have to wait until christmas. don't humans understand anything?
woofers.
Ok, A) you are sooo smart to find the corner where the treats were! B) you did a FABULOUS job rooting around in the box looking for stuff. It was soooo funny! And C) your human is mean for making you wait till Christmas before you get any of those treats!

We think you did an awesome job double checking the box!
Hi Steve, Wilbur, and Kat,
We hope you're enjoying your new home. We live in a townhouse too, with stairs and a balcony, and it's cool. We have our own clear path from the front to the back of the house downstairs and whenever we hear a noise -- Fedex, UPS, neighbor's car, people talking -- we run back and forth barking our heads off. That's how we got our name. You think? (Mom works from home, so she's not always too happy with our enthusiasm.)
Anyway, we read that you both are engineers. Our Dogdad is an engineer too, so we have a special place in our doggie hearts for engineers.
We had a blast at the ice skating pawty -- skinned our little wirey butts off though. You guys would not have had that problem!!
Wirey woofs,
Jake and Just Harry
Do you know where your Mom hid them? You might still have a chance to get them....
Thanks for your sweet posts on our blog about Thrawn. You guys are the best!
