Sometimes I like to show my dad who is in charge and I sit on the couch and make him use the ottoman.

We strategically strew ourselves across doors and hallways to create a labyrinth of Siberian body parts our bipeds have to dance through to get from one place to another in the house. They've gotten pretty good at it, too, we hardly ever get stepped on.

Hey Kat,
It is obvious that you've got daddy wrapped around your little pinky claw. Sophie is our designated Alpha Bitch (AB); she did the designating. When she was fat we ignored her because the walrus couldn't waddle after us. Now, since she lost that 75 pounds of blubber, it's a different story. Sophie has the ability to make dad take her for, get this, not walks but rather rides in one of the cars. She even cons dad into taking her in to Mickey D's for a burger and fries. So obviously you ABs have a real racket going with the dads. Does it work on the moms?

I own the couch at home. Mom usually likes to sit on the floor and dad, well he's got his own lazy chair. I'm going after the bed next but i think that's just aiming too much..

I don't let my dad watch sports in peace. I give him a whump in the knee with my backside and demand a wrestling match.
Oh, yeah. I like that! I've got the "mom on the floor" part, just not the "Dave on the couch" part! I need to work a little harder!

The cats show us who is in charge around here. They take over the bed, couch and anything they can stretch out and lounge on. Winston always takes our seat at the dinner table if we get up to leave. We return to find a pug sitting on our chair. Oh what a naughty boy he is!!
Oh, let me count the ways! I take up their whole bed and practically push them off, I always sit in the middle of the couch to separate them, and the list could go on. :) Good job on taking charge Kat! Also, cute pic below of Steve and your Mom!
