see, now what you're missing is a REALLY BIG MO-FO Skillet! Do woo want me to come over there and show you how to do it? ;)
seriously though, that USED to look like Loki and Juno. they still get a little rascally, but not nearly as bad and i don't enforce anything. they're pretty calm about getting leashed up now. i used to enforce "downs" during leashing. and since they calmed down, i don't anymore. really enforcing a "down" or a "sit" (down is will lower their play drive even more than a sit), it eventually just extinguishes that behavior after a few months. meaning, they haven't practiced being lunatics when getting leashed and they've forgotten about being lunatics when the leash comes out. and they just calmly get leashed.
but then again, it so damn cute to watch, it's hard to want to shut it down completely. cuz i just love it when mine are happy like that too!
Woooos! That looks a lot like Scampi and me when we are going for walkies too, and Mum gets so disgusted sometimes, it is just that we get sooooo excited! -Kira The BeaWootiful
Pft! Whatever!!!!!! It is very obvious to us dogs that it is DAD who needs to be trained, you guys are very well behaved. Looks like you need to take Dad to training school, Steve!
How do bipeds come UP with these crazy ideas?!? Steve, you were very thoughtful to try to help Kat sit while your mom was hooking her up. Tail wags, Storms
Now multiply that by 3 and you have The Herd getting ready for a walk. Controlled Chaos is how the humans refer to it, though we can not figure out the controlled part.
Hey Woos, Obviously the dad is not aware of the difference between training and behavior. Any similarities between the two is strictly coincidental. Youse guys look like Radar and Sophie only with less real growling and bumping into things and knocking stuff over. - TBH&K

I don't know what your dad's problem is. You both knew when to run to the door.

What's wrong with that? Nothing like a little enthusiasm for going for a walk.
Woos, Phantom and Thunder
