Another feather in my cap
Back in December I told you about how I am taking my mom to training. I just passed my second mom-training class and I got another certificate. I think Mom’s biggest achievement this course was perfecting the art of giving me treats when I come when she calls me. She’s really good at it and she gets really excited when she gets to give me a treat. It’s nice to see that I have trained such enthusiasm into her.
Here is a video of me getting my certificate.
And here I am posing with my certificate.
I am going to take my canine good citizen test in April after my last phase of training Mom. If I can just get Mom to behave correctly for the test, I will have my first official title!
Tomorrow I will post a video that makes Dad say "and you call these dogs trained?"

Is the certificate tasty?

Way to go, Steve-o! Pawsome job! I think I need to train my mom a little better too. She's a little slow with the treat dispensing.

Hi Steve! I thought when I read your post title that you snagged yourself a bluejay or something. Hee hee hee. You know ... the feather and all. :)
Congratulations! I know how hard it can be to train bipeds. You're REALLY doing a great job!
Love,
Ammy
Steve, that is a great accomplishment, training your mum so well. Is Kat working on training your dad too?
Hey Woos, Way to go Steve. Jubal and J.E.B. both went to CGC training to teach dad good behavior. They both have their CGC certificates but we don't know why dad had to repeat the course. Jubal isn't a treat reward dog which made it a bit more challenging for dad, that's probably why J.E.B. had to take him a second time. None of the rest of us have gone to training. Dad say's he learned enough already.
