Sleeping with Mom
I am very abused. Mom always says, "Oh Stevie boy, you're so soft and fluffy, come cuddle with me." As a matter of fact, I am very soft and fluffy, but I'm not certain that I care to do any cuddling. It doesn't matter though. Look what she does to me.
I mean, sure she usually scratches my tummy and neck, but really, this is too much.
Finally I escaped.
Really, I love my mom and I want to be close to her, but this is much more my style. Just give her the tail.

I love cuddling!!!...for about 5 minutes, then I'm off to do whatever needs to be done! Mommy always gets the most cuddling when the lights are off cause I know that is sleepy time.
Woo is soooooooooo handsome!!!
Mya Boo boo
Oh Steve!
I get the same abuse and feel the same way -
I just don't have proof since my abuser also operates the khamera - and being a hooman, she khan't do both!
I guess we just have to smile and skhwirrel it!

Isn't the snuggle on their terms just overwhelming. And, then, hrmph, they don't snuggle when we want them to. Humans are so hard to train.
Hi Steve!
I love cuddling with my Owners! But only when I feel like it!

Cuddling?! Blech. Tell her to go find Wilbur.

Madison is a ram-charge kissy licky kissy licky attack kind of girl, but not much of a cuddler. She'd rather stretch out along the bottom of the bed for a few minutes and then DRIP onto the floor. It's so much cooler down there!
If you look at it historically, it's our ability to let the bipeds think we like cuddling that got us where we are today. The Chukchis let us in the yurts (or whatever they were living in) only because we'd snuggle with the little bipeds and keep them warm. This explains our domestication - and our genetic predisposition to be bed hogs. Especially in Dave's case.
This has been an informational moment from the SZK School of Siberian Studies.

Steve, you really need to give your mum the claw. Then you won't get getting no cuddles from her. I do that to dad all the time. Works a treat. I notice we only see Kat's tail in the pictures - that's what you should be doing.

Purr S: who are these dogtime people???
Hey, my lady does that too, every morning she pulls me close for some huggies and rubs. I tolerate it!

Really, Steve? I thinks woo enjoys it, but woo does not want to show! I love it when Mommy cuddles me but I won't ask her, I just lie there looking cute until she gets the hint.
Wooo,
Togi
Talk to the tail...
I can tolerate about 2 minutes of the kissy-huggy stuff then I insist on my own personal space. My Mom has threatened to adopt a Pekinese just to get some cuddle time.
You look so put out. I completely understand
Simcha
Jack's the cuddeler here. It's pathetic. I move just about the time I feel the breeze from an approaching hand.
Woos,
Star
Jie jie loves to force me to cuddle with her in bed too. Like you, I dun like it too and I keep moving away. Since my tail is not long and bushy like yours, so I show her my but until she give in and carry my down the bed.

hey Steve, Kat, and Wilber,
Thanks for sniffing over to my blog! Nice to meet some new doggy friends! Sorry you have to endure the cuddling abuse! I don't like to cuddle either and I often just turn and give the tail!

p.s. Thanks for the info on Texas and Seattle! I really appreciate it and the info does help! I didn't know Texas got so hot so I think I will be having a sit-down with my human to discuss this latest development! Seattle sounds much more my style!
Steve, how could we possibly resist you beautiful dogs?
Ari submits to about two minutes of cuddling on some mornings, but only because that means she's close enough to lick my face if I don't get up and walk her.
Woo there Steve and Kat~
Kaynh is the snuggler in our house so I don't have to do it too much. Sometimes, I give in and let Mom have a few minutes but I can usualli only tolerate it everi couple weeks or so.
I see you've been having some weather "fun" too. It's suppose to drop from 46 to about 16 tomorrow. I hope the bipeds aren't out driving when that Arctic Clipper freezes up the roadways.

Steve,
The humans need our fluffy fur. It's the price we pay for being so cute and warm. We think it's better than those awful folks who buy coats made of fur! Ahhhhh. It is a huge sacrifice we all make. Well, all of us but Rosemary and Witty. What your Mom needs is another foster dog!

Steve,
Is this a picture of your crate?? If so, then I'm on my way over right now. . .
Mine is not nearly as luxurious.

Hi you guys!
At night, I sleep next to my Mom's bed but during the sleep time, I get up on the bed, at the foot. Then when she and I wake up in the morning, we have a little snuggle time, belly rubbing, playtime. Its not too long and it feels right to me! A good way to start the day!
The snow keeps coming here in Minniesoda and its gonna get cold, cold tonight with 40 below windchills. Wooo, don't want to go walkies in that stuff.
Kisses,
Stella
WOO WOO Steve
We love snuggling with our Mom. We like to jump on her tummy too!
Hugs

Steve you are so adorable how can your mom not help but want to snuggle with you? Sadie doesn't like to be snuggled either though. I didn't realize other huskies didn't like it either. Interesting.
I am totally with you Steve. I don't like to cuddle either. I tolerate it at times but I really don't like it. Then, Kana comes over and gets all cuddly and rubs it in my face. My parents woo all over him. It is disgusting.
