Another plumbing job

A couple weekends ago, we had another plumbing issue at our house.  The garbage disposal decided to stop working.  I immediately came inside from playing in the backyard to help Dad solve the issue.  (Mom says to ignore the smudges and dirty paw prints on the glass.)

I had to help Dad all by myself because Steve was busy helping Mom with the laundry.
Dad and I discussed whether he had done that thing to unjam the disposal and he had and it still wouldn't work.
The disposal looked pretty old and finally Dad and I decided that we needed to go to Lowe's and get a new one.  Once we got back, I supervised Dad while he installed it.  Steve took a break from the laundry to come help.
Here's the new disposal all installed.  Doesn't that look better?  It works better too.Another plumbing emergency solved by the S&K Plumbing Team!

Great job S&K!!! What would your parents do without woo? Surely they would have to spend big bucks on professional help.

We are having an emergency too ... this morning the vacuum wouldn't turn on! It was plugged in and everything. We are so worried. Hopefully Man-Dad can fix it. We think that we better get a little dustbuster for all the Madison dirt piles. A broken vacuum is a terrible emergency.

Jie jie says that its handi to have your pup learn how to do plumbing work. Do you hold classes for that, Kat?

How are you pups with fixing leaky showers? My dad has been a bit slack in the home duties department.

What great helpers you two are! I like to help Owner Girl with the laundry sometimes, I keep it warm after she folds it by laying on it!
Looks like you did a super job!

We really think it is time for woo to start a franchise in the Kansas City area - we are always looking for a good plumber.

Congrats on another successful job.

It's a good thing you were there, Kat. Our dad tried to fix the bathroom sink last month without our supervision and ended up trying to put the vice grips through his finger. 4 stitches and some x-rays, I'm just sayin'.

You must be exhausted. It's a good thing you were there to help out although another strategy would have been to volunteer to be the garbage disposal yourself.

Echo beat us to it - we thought we were the garbage dispose-alls! We always volunteer for sure. Great job supervising though. We do our best supervising from the couch!

Ari wants you to know that she would be delighted to serve as disposal in the interim! She's been practicing by eating a good bit of our compost.

Thank you so much for our 12 day of Christmas song. I'm quite confident that is the first time "cauliflower" has been worked into a holiday carol. Too fabulous!
