Waiting on Dad
We went for a bike ride on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. The part that wasn't fun was before we left. Mom got us harnessed up and then Dad spent an insane amount of time looking for his hat. Come on, Dad, grow some fur! He has fur on his head, but he doesn't have furry ears, so that's why he said he needed a hat. Huskies are so much smarter than humans because we grow furry ears to keep us from spending time looking for hats instead of having fun.
Here's Steve waiting.
Here's me.
Here's both Steve and me.
Here's Wilbur. Even he was bored. (Wilbur did not get to go for the bike ride.)
Dad did finally find his hat... the next day. It was in the laundry basket and Mom washed it.

Oh Kat and Steve... you two are so darn cute! And Wilber is so handsome sitting in his basket there. That is funny that your dad's hat was in the laundry basket, ha roo! We have a similar situation here... mom can't find her UGA cap. Humm... maybe she should look in the laundry basket too?

The humans really should keep better track of their stuff. Do you see us looking for stuff......I don't think so. We know exactly where everything is all the time. Dad tried to put his hat on me once. It didn't go well.

Humans just aren't equipped to spend time outside when its even a little bit cold. Our dad needs head, hand, foot, and body fur added to him in winter when he goes out with us. It takes him FOREVER to get ready. You guys are right, it is so boring waiting for the humans to get their act togeather! Happy belated birthday to Wilbur! Hope he had a great one! Humans are always complaining about waiting in line. Grrrrr. We wait for them alllll the time. You guys look very well mannered and quite striking waiting on your human. We can tell you have practiced this art of waiting. Wilbur, we love your new house, urrr box.

Wilbur I need one of those boxes. How did you get your humans to get you one?
Humans are so lame sometimes. How hard is it to keep up with a hat?!

PS When do you get to move into the new Clubhouse?
Sometimes our humans just don't stop and think about how excited we get, and how having to wait even 2 seconds seems like forever!!! Ours sometimes take too long to get ready for our walks too, so I know just how you feel.

What is wrong with your dad? Doesn't he have a special basket to keep his special things in? He needs a stuffy basket in the front room so he can find what he is after. It is sad that you had to wait all that time when he could have found his hat had he been as organized as we are.
You are right about dogs being smarter than humans because we have fuzzy ears!
You two are very patient. That's a rare and beautiful skill in a husky. I think dad should buy a bike basket so that Wilbur can ride along, too: he looks so fetching in that basket!
Kat you look very annoyed with your dad! Did you at least claw him for making you wait???
WOo woo, KA

We hear you woo, Kat. We wonder why in the world it takes hu-mom sooooo long to get ready for a walk-- Dad wonders too. Steve looks like Jack in that first photo. Kat, LOVE the pink harness, very chic.

Star & Jack outta-here a-roo
Did you "chew out" your Mom for hiding your Dad's hat?
Wilbur does look bored. But it's hard to tell what cats are thinking. If they think. Sometimes you gotta wonder.
