How To Go To the Dog Park, Part 3

We now return to our multipart series...

Part 3: The Car Ride

An important part of going to the dog park is riding in the car.  Here's Kat and me in the car as Dad is preparing to back out of the garage.  I was sending him Siberian Mind Melds to pick the fastest route to the park.
Because time at the dog park is always very labor intensive, I like to take the car ride portion of the journey to catch some ZZZzzzz's so I can play to the fullest once I get there.
Kat, on the other paw, is a big backseat driver, so she has to watch Dad's every turn.

Well pups, we are almost to the dog park.  I hope you're all ready!
Steve

We think you should make educational DVD's and sell them on Ebay. You could be gazillionaires in no time!

Hurry with the next installment!

I can't believe you sleep on the way to the dog park!!! That's just crazy! I would be so hyper and excited there is no WAY I could sleep!

I'm a backseat driver just like Kat!

the car ride is almost as much fun as the park! can you smell the park when you get close? do you get all excited when you are almost there? you're lucky that you get seat belts to hold you still. we just jump all over the car and go nutso!

I can barely stand the suspense! Are you sure Dad knows where he's going? Maybe you should offer to drive next time. Tell your Mom we're testing some new treats by Evo. They might be something you can both have since you're still on your low carb/fat diet. She found them today and brought them home.

They're yummy!

We're so sad. We haven't been to the park in ages. Maybe if we show your blog to Dad he'll remember the way to one of our parks.

Momma is always willing to share. The answer to your question is... Eva weighs 52# and gets 2 cups a day (but occasionally skips a meal by choice) and Tasha weighs 70# gets about 2 1/2 cups a day. I buy a 30 lb bag of the Prairie line once a month for $38-$45 depending on the protein source. The vension and duck run about $5 more a bag than the others. The Instinct line is more expensive than the Prairie line. The canned runs $2-$3 a can. Since they get that just as a "bonus" we only use 1-2 cans a week. Luckily, our store does the "frequent buyer " program so every 10th bag is free and sends out great coupons.
Since I'm sure that Steve and Kat are more active than the girls and would need a little more food, my best guess is $40-55 a month.
There are a lot of great foods available now that "the public" is becoming more aware. We're going to add some comparison/review sites to our sidebar (maybe tonight).

I like to be the back seat driver like Kat. My humans did get me a seatbelt for Christmas. I hate it but they give me a treat when I wear it so it is bearable.

I'll bet your dad drives better with Kat helping him like that!
