Birthday Cake
Kat mentioned in the last post that Mom was baking a birthday cake for us. I decided that all of my blogging friends, especially Echo, would like to see pictures of the cake and me eating it.
Here's the cake, fresh out of the oven. Those red specks in it are crumbled Beggin' Strips. Yum! Mom cut the cake into six pieces so we've been able to have cake for three nights. She put some plain yogurt on top for frosting. We love yogurt. It would have been a tad better with some banana slices too, but who am I to complain? Here we are waiting patiently for our cake. (Yes, I am being patient. No matter what anyone tells you.) Here's me eating it. It was so good. And here's Kat eating her piece too. Well, I hope you enjoyed our cake pictures. If you want some of your own cake, order the recipe book from Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue.

MMMMMMMMM,CAKE! We MUST get our humans to order that cook book. We love yogurt, too. We get it on top of our kibble for every meal. But we NEVER get cake. WE NEED CAKE!! Happy first birthday once again you two!! Belly Rubs, Tasha & Eva.
Howroo Steve, Kat & Wilbur!
Didn't Wilbur get any cake? We bet he was unhappy to be left out of the celebration. Maybe he would have liked one of the fish treats from the cookbook?
We were wondering which recipe your mom made the cake from, it looks grrrreat! Our mom's been fixing stuff from our cookbook too, so far we've had pumpkin/yogurt pupsicles, and the soft babyfood cookies. Our mom can't leave any recipe alone though, she always has to add her own special touch, the pupsicles had mashed banana's in 'em, and the cookies had shredded cheese on top, we gave 16 paws up to both recipes. She's promised that she's gonna make us the Newfie Breakfast Bars next, but said she thinks she'll add some applesauce & apple chips to that recipe....GO, MOM!
Happy Birthday, Happy Cake, & Manykisses,
