What a Fun Day!
Today started out like any other day. We did lots of wrestling while Mom and Dad got ready for work. Then Mom stuffed our Kongs full of yummy stuff and told us "kennel". We ran into our kennel and started working on our yummy Kongs. After the yumminess was all gone, we noticed something interesting. One of the doors of our kennel (we have a three door one) was open! Well, there was only one thing to do - get out!!
We had such an adventure! We had the entire house to ourselves so we could do whatever we wanted. I'm not going to post about everything that we did because I think my mom reads this blog, but I will say that we chewed the rug by the front door up. (She already knows about that.) Here's a picture of the view from the front door. See all those little things on the floor? Those are pieces of the rug. Here's Dad showing off the rug, first front, then back. You should have seen Mom and Dad's faces when they got home. They opened the door and we were standing there waiting to say "hi"! They didn't know what to do since we weren't in the kennel! It was such a surprise. I hope they leave the kennel door open every day. There are more rugs in the house that are just dying to be chewed up!

Wow, great job!! I think they should leave the door open everyday - think of the remodeling you could do for them when they're working!!!
Thrawn
Priceless!!! What a great way to show your true Siberian ingenuity! You did a fabulous job! I know there will be lots of highly impressed doggies out there once they see your handy work! I think you totally deserved that much fun after all your blogathon work!

Hopefully you didn't eat any of the yarns since that can be dangerous. But it's good to hear that you had fun.

Oh man what fun. I bet you they check the doors of the kennel a lot now though.
Wowzers, you guys! Great job! Your mom and dad must be SO proud - look at your dad holding the rug up, as if to say, "My Sibes did this; I am so proud!" Very cool.

Yip-woo,
I just pushed big bruther, Cosmos, out of the way cuz I wanted to make a comment. Gee, that looks like you had a lot of fun! I wonder if mommy would ever furget to look my crate when she goes to work!?!? I can do lots of damage in just a short time. I got out of the kitchen on Sunday by yanking the gate down. Telephones make such a good chew toy - yep, yep! Daddy said that I trashed another one. Gotta go cuz Cosmos is coming.

WOOWOOWOO! I am jealous!! I wish my mom would leave my crate unlocked! Nice work on the rug!! Such great design sense you 2 have!
Oh, you two are something else. My Mom could not believe what you'all did. I told her that's what huskies do. I guess that's why I end up in my crate when she runs errands. I bet they check those locks every time from now on.

That is very good rug damage. Did it take you most of the day? I am glad you did not get any of those strings around your feet like poor Tad.
I would get out of my crate a lot too, Steve and Kat. I like to chew up bags. I always think there's something yummy in them because Momma gives me cookies sometimes and puts them in bags. If you look at my blog, you'll see that I destroyed a whole bag of foods (empty though) to see if there was anything in it.

Wow, we aren't crated anymore cuz we don't chew stuff anymore. It is fun, tho. Every once in a while, Shiloh gets one or two of mommy's shoes - he's the sole eater! she got really mad when I ate her red pumps. We don't have any carpets to chew - do they taste like chicken?
One of our foster dogs, Maximus, had a good time tearing up our carpet too. But he was just trying to paw his way out of the room.

Woo! That's a true work of art! Mom's usually hang stuff their kids do on the fridge. You should tell your Mom to do that so that everybuddy who comes to your home can admire your artistic abilities.

Good job you two! I don't chew up stuff too much anymore, but some days I get in that kind of a mood. Keep up the good work!
Lots of love,
Rosco
uh oh! I think they will be sure to lock up for a while now!
That is such a brill post.
I've come from Guinness Shiloh and Misty's blog.
There are only little rugs in my house, and they are for me to lie on in winter when it is cold so I don't think I will be chewing them.
But I think you are very cool dogs.

Very Nice Work. Like I told Thrawn - anything worth doing is worth doing right! You two did an awesome job on destruction.
Hugs,
